We look for a PHP developer that is experienced in webshop development and system integration!

When you work with us, you will be primarily concerned with the development and system integration of Magento web shops and Prestashop and Woocommerce stores. You might also need to develop custom applications. In our projects we provide solutions for domestic and international companies. Therefore, understanding and English is mandatory, and you should at least speak English at a medium level. In the majority of our work we create custom modules, applications with serious PHP development requirements. The development of the webshop is often connected to external systems so that integration tasks are on the table. Testing and documenting the finished code is part of the job, but the final test is often done by a dedicated colleague.

Expected work experience:

  • Object-oriented PHP knowledge at a high level (OOP, MVC)
  • Experience with Zend / Laravel / Symfony or a framework with the same complexity.
  • Experience in Magento and / or Woocommerce based webshop development (module installation and development of custom modules).
  • SQL experience (mainly MySQL, complex data retrieval processes)
  • Experience with Version Management Development (eg GIT, SVN)

Not expected, but nice to haves:

  • Interest in the development and technological trends of e-commerce
  • NoSQL experience
  • Practice developing custom javascript solutions
  • You are able to work on frontend development tasks if necessary (HTML5, CSS3)

How can I apply?

Apply if you are looking for a full time job. Next to your CV, write a few lines about yourself, your experiences and your most important references.

Some questions that you may have:

Would frontend development be my job?
No, you are especially concerned with server-side programming (system design, module development, integration). A dedicated front-end development team is engaged in sitebuilding tasks. Front-end development experiences are listed among the benefits because speaking one language with your sitebuilder colleagues might be mutually beneficial.

Is it a problem if I have not worked within the Zend Framework or Magento yet?
No, this is not an entry requirement, but an advantage. If you have serious experience in any framework with similar complexity to Zend, you might still fit in. Getting to know Magento is definitely a wise investment as it is the world's leading open source e-commerce technology. We are ready to teach you if you bring the necessary interest.

Do I have to contact customers?
That's inevitable. The main part of customer communication is provided by our project managers who have the responsibility to minimize the number of customer contacts with any developer and to provide the information you need to do your job. Sometimes though you will have to consult with our partners, especially from a technical point of view, but in this case the project manager will also be present.
